Mon premier groupe de blues
Mon premier groupe de blues date d’environ 1992. À cette époque, mon frère Ice B n’en faisait pas encore partie. Le groupe se composait d’un batteur, de deux guitaristes, d’un bassiste et de moi-même à l’harmonica et au chant.
J’ai posé des annonces dans les magasins de musique de ma région et, très rapidement, j’ai reçu plusieurs coups de téléphone. C’est ainsi que mon premier “bébé blues” est né, avec de nombreux changements de musiciens au fil du temps.
Sur cette photo, vous pouvez voir mon tout premier groupe de blues officiel, vers 1995. À ce moment-là, Ice B n’avait que 14 ans, et il était déjà très doué ! Bien sûr, les autres musiciens l’étaient aussi. Dès la première année, nous avons commencé à donner beaucoup de concerts.

Nous avons connu un petit succès local. Nous avons même enregistré un album, que vous pouvez peut-être encore écouter sur YouTube, s’il existe toujours.
Le nom du groupe était Bonny B & The Blues Connection, et c’est avec eux que j’ai fait mes premiers pas sur la scène blues.

My first blues band
My first blues band dates back to around 1992. At that time, my brother Ice B was not yet part of the group. The band consisted of a drummer, two guitarists, a bass player, and myself on harmonica and vocals.
I placed ads in local music stores, and very quickly I started receiving phone calls. That’s how my first “blues baby” was born, with many lineup changes over time.
In this photo, you can see my very first official blues band, around 1995. At that time, Ice B was only 14 years old, and he was already very talented! Of course, the other musicians were talented as well. From the very first year, we started playing a lot of concerts.

We achieved a small local success and even recorded an album, which you may still be able to listen to on YouTube, if it’s still available.
The band was called Bonny B & The Blues Connection, and it was with them that I took my first steps on the blues scene.

Meine erste Bluesband
Meine erste Bluesband entstand ungefähr im Jahr 1992. Zu dieser Zeit war mein Bruder Ice B noch nicht dabei. Die Band bestand aus einem Schlagzeuger, zwei Gitarristen, einem Bassisten und mir selbst an Mundharmonika und Gesang.
Ich schaltete Anzeigen in den Musikgeschäften meiner Region, und schon sehr schnell bekam ich mehrere Anrufe. So entstand mein erstes „Blues-Baby“, mit vielen Musikerwechseln im Laufe der Zeit.
Auf diesem Foto seht ihr meine allererste offizielle Bluesband, etwa 1995. Damals war Ice B erst 14 Jahre alt, und er war schon sehr talentiert! Natürlich waren auch die anderen Musiker sehr gut. Bereits im ersten Jahr spielten wir viele Konzerte.
