Qui est Ice B ?
Je joue avec mon frère Ice B depuis qu’il a 15 ans. Je lui ai acheté une guitare qui m’a coûté 50.–, car je n’avais que ça. Heureusement, j’en ai trouvé une : elle était blanche ! Je l’ai déposée sur son lit en espérant qu’il l’essaierait.
À l’époque, il n’avait que 12 ans. Il imitait déjà Albert Collins, Otis Rush, Muddy Waters, Robert Lockwood, etc.
Et depuis ce jour-là, il a commencé à jouer 3 à 4 heures par jour !
Trois ans plus tard, je l’ai intégré dans mon groupe, et depuis, nous ne nous sommes plus jamais quittés.
Aujourd’hui, après des milliers de concerts à mes côtés, il est devenu l’un des meilleurs guitaristes de blues au monde.

Who is Ice B?
I have been playing with my brother Ice B since he was 15 years old. I bought him a guitar that cost me 50.– because that was all I had. Luckily, I found one — it was white! I placed it on his bed, hoping he would try it.
At the time, he was only 12 years old. He was already imitating Albert Collins, Otis Rush, Muddy Waters, Robert Lockwood, and others.
From that very day on, he started practicing 3 to 4 hours a day!
Three years later, I brought him into my band, and we have never parted since.
Today, after thousands of concerts by my side, he has become one of the best blues guitarists in the world.

Wer ist Ice B?
Ich spiele mit meinem Bruder Ice B, seit er 15 Jahre alt ist. Ich kaufte ihm eine Gitarre für 50.–, denn mehr hatte ich nicht. Zum Glück fand ich eine — sie war weiß! Ich legte sie auf sein Bett und hoffte, dass er sie ausprobieren würde.
Damals war er erst 12 Jahre alt. Er imitierte bereits Albert Collins, Otis Rush, Muddy Waters, Robert Lockwood und andere.
Seit diesem Tag spielte er 3 bis 4 Stunden pro Tag!
Drei Jahre später nahm ich ihn in meine Band auf, und seitdem sind wir unzertrennlich.
Heute, nach tausenden von Konzerten an meiner Seite, ist er einer der besten Blues-Gitarristen der Welt.
